Hello sir,
i m happy see the portal like this.
i m in gr8 problem.
i have different name in my birth certificate and different name in all other documents.i get to 9 that civil court order to change name in birth certificate to municipal.
please tell me is it true ?
Birth certificate issue in gujarat.
is there different law in different state ?
please tell me
How much time it will take to get court order ? and how and where can i apply for this ?
please tell me can i get the certificate with my current name which i use in my all document except birth certificate.
plz plz plz tell the way how i get it done ?
plz give me answare soon.

apply to the gujarat govt official gazette with required fees there.
after the name change is published in gazette there, it is better to notify the same through a news paper advt. keep the copies of both gazette and advt with you.

Apart from method told by mahender kumar I suggest you to file a civil suit at the place wherein either your admission was made or the certificates of the baord/school were issued. Prior to that you shall have to obtain original birth certificate from municipality and in civil suit you can insist to change the DOB as per municipal record.
The time expected to be consumed cannot be anticipated but it may tak at least 2 years.

Change of name has become a very simple procedure these days and the applicant can always get his new name published in the official gazette of the State

hello sir thanks for giving sugession.
but if i published name change notification in gazette and i go to municipal office with that will provide me birth ceritificate with my current name.
see , i doesn't haave change my name ever.
it was my parent's unawareness that they got my birth certificate with my home name.
please give me sugession that
how can i get my current name in birth certificate in less time.i have to apply for USA visa.they need my birth certificate.

You do not have to change the existing birth certificate.
the copy of the gazette is enough to prove your name change. along with original certificate,keep the copy of the gazette .

Actually i do not want to have documents with two different name.
even though i does not change my name.it was just my parent's mistake.
i want only one name in all document.
that's i m asking the procedure where i can get correct my birth certificate.
