Sr namaskar
I got acquittal in 498a,406,506,120,34, now my wife has filed appeal.I am paying maint in DV,n 125 crpc is under trial.maint arrears are due apx 1 lakh in dv.I am in Army n wife has filed for attachment of salary.what option do I have ?

If you can afford you should pay and go on paying interim maintenance under DV and125 Cr.P.C. Otherwise show that due to change of circumstances job loss, property loss etc or your wife getting gainfully emnployed and court may in its discretion award maintenance accordingly.

If you do not want attachment of salary, better pay the maintenance amount including the arrears.

There is a specified limit of attachment of salary. How much is the amount of arrears of maintenance and what are the constituents of your salary, except allowances?

The authorities are bound to follow the attachment order. The only option is in getting the maintenance order altered/discharged by the competent court.

Your spouse can very well approach to attach the salary...

Your office must have already informed the limits/% ..
You have already mentioned some dues to the tune of Rs.1 Lac
