Hi, Can I purchase a land that is allotted to SC category currently. I am from general category and belong to Uttarakhand, so please suggest the best way.

As per my knowledge 'NO'. You need to get specific permission from the district collector and by paying the royalty amount. Consult a local lawyer.

In case of agriculture land, person of SC category cannot sell land to general category In your case whether you misrepresented your identity or not, it is write down in sale deed that seller belongs to general category and not SC. If the same comes out to be false lately then land automatically vests in government. In case of commercial there is no such boundation of SC or general as no UPZALR is applied in that case.
