ADVOCATES CONDUCT

Experts, in a maintenance case filed by wife against her husband advocate X appeared for the husband.Advocate X also filed the counter statements of husband.Similarly advocate X also appeared for the husband in DV act case and hmop .During the pendency all the three matters in the year 2012 a compromise arrived between the husband and wife.All the three cases withdrawn.Again in the year 2015 disputes arose between husband and wife.The wife again filed another fresh maintenance case appointing the same advocate X on behalf of her who appeared for the husband previously before the courts.Husband in the past has given several particulars about his status,income,secrets etc relying his advocate.Now advocate X appearing for the wife in the maintenance case, a partition suit and also in a hmop .Husband complained the conduct of advocate X to the magistrate who is handling the maintenance case.it is of no use.what steps shall the husband can take against advocate X .Pls guide.

File a injunction suit against the advocate in accepting the brief of your wife,after sending him a notice.

This is grave professional misconduct.
Lodge complaint with Bar Council. his license is likely to be revoked for sure.
Inform this fact to the court as well.

You can follow the advice of Mr. Devajyyothi Barman and Mr. Rajendra K Goyal.

Its an unethical practice and no one including legal fraternity shall encourage or support this type of practice. Stringent action has to be taken on those professionals who does not have good conduct towards their profession.
