In-laws house visit during divorse process

Can my in-laws file police complaint if I go to their house after signing mutual consent but before the cooling period . I want to talk and try to save my marriage .my lawyer says the can file a case against me . suggestion needed

No case lies merely for stepping inside the matrimonial home.
Since mutual divorce is already pending I find no reason why your in laws jeopardise the mutual divorce by lodging complaint against you.
