Using residential flat for beauty parlour (part time)

Dear Sir

We are owners of the flat my wife is running beauty parlour for last six months since society is in formation process

Now Ad Hoc Committee of the Society has told us to pay 25% of the maintenance amount per month for running commericial activity in residencial area...

what do we do...? can society ask for such thing...? if yes why after 6 months?

what do law say about this ...? plz guide me

If such demand is not supported by bye laws of the society you can well deny to make such increased payments.
Additionally lodge complaint with Registrar about such harassment.

I agree with expert advise of Mr. Devajyoti Barman, the society cannot allow commercial activity and charge any money. Reply the demand.
