Filling a case on hospital for neglegence surgery

How can I file a case against hospital for neglegence surgery and foreign object left behind in body. It was removed after a year by another hospital. Inspite of visiting hospital frequently for injury recovery issue.
Is it possible to get compensation in India. We had already spent 12-14 lac on hospital expenses.
Hope you suggest on this?

Outcome of the case nobody can predict at this stage. It all will depend upon the facts of the case, soundness of evidence, the reply by the defence etc..

If you feel that you have a case, better discuss with your local lawyer, show the documents in your possession, and then take appropriate action, without further delay.

Yes. You can file a case before the National Consumer Dispute Redressal
Commission (NCDRC) for compensation.
