Partition of property

(Querist) 16 November 2014 This query is : Resolved
Filed case for separate partition and possession in joint property registered on all legal heirs. Almost more than 2 years have passed but property yet not partition due to which I am unable to enter my own property or use it after the death of my parents. My query is that is there any way that property can be partitioned in quick way or at least within 3 to 4 years of filing the case. Can I approach High Court for speedy of my case. Please advice

Civil suit does take time. Till the final verdict is passed you have to wait for its outcome.
Have you filed injunction petition?
Do this to have unrestricted entry into the property.

Dear,

Yes you approach high court with a deadline within which the suit should be disposed off..

Partition suit involves lot of formalities including preliminary decree, commission work, final decree etc, hence it will certainly take more than 10 years too.
