Date of bairth differs in school's marksheet.

(Querist) 23 May 2014 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Madam,
I pursue my school from Haryana Board.
In the eighth class board and 10th class board mark sheet my dob is 06 April 1991.
But my actual dob in birth certificate is 28 September 1993, which is my actual dob.

A few days ago for the same issue, i visit at haryana board office, which is at Bhiwani(Haryana). They told me on the basis of birth certificate, we can change it.
After that i meet with a lawyer, who tells me to file a case against haryana board.
And the issue will be solve out.
Now i want to know what i have to do.

On the basis of mark sheet i take my pan card and open bank account with wrong dob.
Now i want to know if my dob not change in mark sheet but with the help of birth certificate i can change it in my pan card and on other documents.
Please know me what is the suitable process.
If you know any other process which help me more, know me the same.

Thanks & waiting for your replies.

If you want to change your dob in the marks card, you will have to file a suit for declaration and mandatory injunction, by following the u/s 80 of CPC procedure.

How/why dOB was different in school record?

Shubham Goyal (Querist) 24 May 2014
This is differ in 8th standard and the school says u r not eligible to appear in class 8th exam due to your age.
And then they change the same.
About this i am not aware for this and not even my parents know the fact.

But know i think it remain same.

But one more question i have.
Which is if i change my dob in my pan card and other documents and my dob in mark sheet remain same.
Is it affect?

In Maharashtra, there is a process of rectifying the discrepancy or any such issues in date of birth by publishing in the government gazette.

the applicant shall fill up a form obtained from gazette office and submit the same to the officer along with sufficient documents such as birth certificate, school leaving certificate etc. Once the presiding officer is satisfied with the said documents, he publishes the same in the government gazette. that is also considered as a valid proof for rectification in date of birth.

File a civil suit after making representation to the concerned board and the school.
