If the document was not produced well in advance due to the no-fault of your side, and if the said document is vital one to decide the issue involved in the case, no doubt, it could be filed. But, the condition is that a reasonable and fair opportunity of being heard to be given to the other side also.

An application seeking additional evidence is required to be moved and if allowed, only then such documents can be produced otherwise there is no scope.
