Reagarding rti

(Querist) 21 March 2014 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Does Maruti Suzuki company falls under RTI act. I have recently bought a Car and I have a strong feeling I made a wrong deal. I want to know the prices they have sold cars to other customers in period I have purchased.

Company won't be keen in revealing that data. So is RTI applicabale here and if not, what other options do i have to ascertain the prices of cars sold to other customers?

Thank You
Bharat garg

No, it does not fall under RTI cover. It is no more under any Govt. control.

Thank You Ma;am for sparing out time to reply, but given the fact that it is no longer under any Govt Control, what options do i have to know the prices of cars sold to other customers? Do I have to go through the court to know this or some step before this can be taken?

If you have any particular grievance with your car manufactured by Suzuki, then you can file case before the consumer forum.

I would appreciate if you correctly address my gender.

What is your grievance? It cannot be a grievance if the car is sold at lesser price to other customer.

@ Devajyoti Sir, Sorry for the typing error above. Thank you Jaggarao ji, i think consumer forum is the only option i have.

Dear Author,

Devajyoti Barman ji is male to be referred as Sir, and not ma;am as you have again referred. Which Please note.

Consumer forum would be helpful only in cases of deficiency of service cases.

I do not think you have any case to file against the company, however if you still feel that you have been done with any injustice by the dealer with regard to the price or if you suspect any fraud played upon you in this regard, you can approach the company's top management through a registered post as well as through a mail to company's website, take their reply/opinion and decided further course of action.
