Who is a competent officer to take action U/s 145 of Cr.P.C. -Tha Tahasildar who is acting as an executive magistrate is empowered to take action U/s 107 of Cr.P.C. Like wise is he empowered to take action U/s 145 of Cr.P.C also ?
-Whether the Asst Commissioner who is acting as a divisional Magistrate is empowerd to take action U/s 145 of Cr.P.C.
my question is before whome the petiion U/s 145 is to be filed, either before Tahasildar or before Asst Commissioner ?

The power under u/s 145 crpc varies from place to place. You have to take local information. In WB it is SDO or Executive Magistrate who discharge d=such functioning.
