One year pgdm with mba full time legal in india?

Hello Sir/Madam,

I would like to join MBA 2 years full time course from 2013-14 and also PGDM 1 year certificate from different university correspondence course like manipal university.

I am not sure if it is legal to pursue both at same time as per existing laws.Can somebody advise, please..before admission.

I think
1 year diploma is nowhere equivalent to any degree.The only concern is time overlap..
