specific performance

Respected seniors, can any provide me a good caselaw/ citation about specific performance related. Ssituation is- hon'ble court decreed the suit of plaintiff (suitvof specific performance of contract). Actually there is 7 years delay for filing the suit in court. As per limitation act suit must be brought within 3 years. I am having full merit but still i want good caselaw which says ..huge delay connot be condon in suit for specific performace.
Plz provide me some case laws.
