Hi All,

My father has expired recently. We are having a plot on his name. I am his son. How do i transfer the plot to my name.
If not possible, then can i transfer the plot on my mom's name.

If you can guide how can i do the name transfer from my dad's name.

By inheritance both of you are now its owner and no transfer is required. You can only apply for mutation of your name.
You can give your share half share to your mother by gift deed which attracts stamp duty.

When your father has not left any will then on his death his widow,all sons and daughters have become co-owners in equal shares by virtue of law for which no transfer is required and only mutation application is required to be lodged before authority your father's name is recorded.
