Promissory note

(Querist) 23 January 2013 This query is : Resolved 
D/Sir,
Can a promiser mentioned the date, on or before which he has to pay to the promisee the Amount given to him? I want to stipulate definite time, i.e. on .... date or before 2 years from today, etc. is it possible, or i should resort to some other option than Prom.Note.

it is your call . A promissory note can be either payable on demand or at a specific time.
