Registration of a gifted plot

I want to get registered a plot gifted to me by my father. Do i have to pay the regular stamp duty or concessional, the plot is in up.

stamp duty on Gift to blood relations is concessional, you may approach the local registry to know the exact percentage.

see the stamp act of your state . it must be mentioning stamp duty paybale on gift between relatives

Stamp duty is nominal in UP in such gift registration.

You can made it under gift settlement Deed which is more less stamp duty and registration duty than the sale deed.

In Up, no concession is available for blood relation transaction.

stamp duty of gift deed is same like sale deed.

you have to pay 5%+2%=7% stamp duty of value of property dm's circle rate.
