Passport

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 28 November 2011 This query is : Resolved
Hi Experts

I would like to know that I had given surety to one of cousin against 326 IPC. and now i wish to apply for a passport as i m planning for further studies in Uk.

So would like to know will it affect my passport application or my visa application if my cousin would properly follow the court rules.

Pls advice

Giving surety to any accused person means that you have satisfied the court that the accused will abide the order of court and will follow the rule and regulation of the court. In case of any discripency the surety holder will be liable. There is no problem for you in getting the passport and visa being a surety holder and there is no bar in going abroad for study or any purpose

No unless the bail bond is forfeited and the surety is directed not to leave this country.
This thing happens only in rare cases.

Agreed with Mr. Barman (Despite what the discussion is going in a diffirent thread)
