Acquiring plot of land.

We are using a plot of land for social causes for 17years.The owner of the plot never objected and never came to see the plot of land for 30 yers. We organise social & cultural functions in the plot.Now the owner has arrived & wants back the plot.The plot is developed by us.What legal action can we take to stop that ?

already told to you let it be any number of years your acts are not such that can constitute and amount to hostile possession,in the knowledge of owner.

You can't stop owner on merely using a plot of land for social causes for 17 years.
