dear sir,
Because of my sisters marriage i have taken a amount of 350000/- from a builder on 100 rs notary papers on signing that i will give them a land of 24000/- sq feet area on 25/12/2005 on writing for six month validation of aggement which is not registerd. but neither he sent notice to me within that 6 month nor me . now that rate of that land is multiplied by 200 times . which i told the builder that pay the exact rate so that i can register to u. but he threatens us saying neither he give land or money.
Dear sir please help me what to do now.
it is urgent because they daily calls us by threatening.

1) we need to see exact wordings of agreement you had signed . 2) an agreement which is not stamped and registered is in admissible in evidence .

Is that agreement of sale. If yes from the date of exeuction of agreement of sale he has got 3 years time to file a suit for specific performance of contract.

If it is an agreement of sale not only notarized but registered too(certain for a up matter)then it is enforceable at law with in 3years from its date as no notice from either side does suggest that time was not the essence of contract.

If nothing is available with any party in writting except the agreement,then said agreenent has become invalid due to law of limitation.
