Hello Friends,

After withdraw of 498a case
by the complainant, can i file a defamation against the complainant and her family members.

If the matter was withdrawn by way of compromise then there is no chance of filing defamation suit otherwise if case under section 498A has been dismissed then can be filed as desired.

Yes I agree too unless you could prove that the compromise was done under force or coercion.
