If the property in question is ancestral in the hands of the grandfather, then the children by the first wife do have a stake in the same. If the property is a self-acquired property of the grand father, then they do not have any claim.

If the grand father is alive, this doubt will arise as to the nature of the property. If he is not alive, then automatically the grand children have rights. Divorce cannot take away their rights over the property.
