Revocation clause

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 19 December 2010 This query is : Resolved
Is it necessary for a Settlement deed to have a clause for Revocation?

What if one revokes a Settlement deed, which have no revocation clause?
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 19 December 2010
If there is no clause the settlement deed will be intact

settlement Deed - Property Transfered by Settlement - Gift Settlement - Transfered - No Clause for any Terms & Violation and cancellation - nothing remained with transferor to cancel .

Once Transfered - subsequently the Transferor has no independent right to cancel - unless the Transferee joined for cancellation.
