Will the records of a civil case that was decided in 1986 still exist in the relevant Munsif's court?

You may file a copy application seeking certified copies of the records that you desire to obtain, provided you are a party to the suit, if not then you may have to file a third party affidavit along with a vakaltnama to an advocate for the purpose.
If the records are available you may get them
