Rent not paid by tenant

respected experts,
my tenant left my flat without giving 2 months rent. before leaving i took a note on a normal paper stating that he will pay rent on 20/12/1013. but he has not paid it. can i get my rent by challenging him through this normal paper note.

Forget the rent. To reconver he two months rent you have to shell put more money to file a suit for that.

If you are ready to spend double the amount towards civil suit, you can file a recovery of money suit against him/her.
