Input of excise duty

Dear Sir/ Madam

We purchase Heavy Weighted Machinery with Excise Bill, Now My Question is Can i take this Excise input and adjust the same with Service Tax. I also want to tell you that we have no excise registration.

Can you please indicate, whether you are (i) a manufacturer or (ii) a trader or (iii) a service provider.

Please also indicate what is the machine meant for? Rather what will you do with the machine?

We are The Dealer Who made Purchase and sale of Machines and we also provide service after sale

A dealer cannot take cenvat credit of the excise duty paid.
Purchase of the said machinery is neither your capital goods nor your input or your raw material.
