Transfer of name in society after the death of its member

I have flat in mumbai it was in the name of my father he expired 8 months ago.He nominated my aunt 100% share and second nominee was me.I gave a noc to my society that I have no problem if the flat is transfered in my aunts name.We submitted all relevant documents to society for the same coz we want to sell the flat.Now secretary is telling to submit my mothers death ceritficate also as she is now where mentioned in soceity books her name is now where in society also she has also expired before my father 35 years ago.We could get the death cerificate as in creamation ground it was under gram panchayat.pls adv if we need the death certificate of my mother also as she is not involved anywhere nor my father had introduced her.
pls adv at the earliest.

You can file affidavit for getting the death certificate.The proprty has to go to legal heirs after the demise of the allotte.

if your mother's death is registered mean you can get it from concern office..
if its not registered mean you have to file petition under birth and death registration act before your concern magistrate.
he will direct the concern authority to register your mother's death, also issue the same to your hands.

since flat was in name of your father and mother predeceased your father give a letter to that effect to society . execute indemnity bond if necessary . on receipt of your NOc society will transfer flat in name of your aunt
