rent controller passed exparte eviction orders on a/c of non payment ofrent. i intend to file application for setting aside eviction orders. pl. guide can i apply now i.e after 30days from date of order as rent controller as certified copy of order was received by me after 24 days from date of decree. deposit of rent arears is must or application for setting aside exparte order can be made without deposit of arrears of rent

Application seeking setting aside can be moved even without deposit of rent within 30 days of date of knowledge and not from 30 days of the impugned order.
You can either file an appeal or application seeking setting aside before the rent controller.

Rent Control Laws are differ from state to state. You should mention your state in query. In Rajasthan copy of eviction order is supplied free by the court and last date of appeal is also mentioned in the order.

I agree here with both of my friends, the Rent Laws differ from state to state.
in state like Punjab, RC is not even considered as a court...RC my devise its own procedure here.
so check the law applicable to your area.
