hi,
am asking this for my frnd, 2yrs back she registered her marriage with the boy frnd and this is not known by her parents.nw she is working in abroad her parents arranged a marriage for her so she informed to them about the register marriage.nw she has no contact with her boy frnd he is absconded so she say ok to the marriage which her parents arranged.nw the matter is whether she can register her marriage because he is working in abroad he wants to take her along with him .she is so scared about the second time registration

earlier marriage must cancel or get divorce from the court, so you must advise to either get divorce legally from him.

Second marriage while the first marriage is subsisting is void and invalid.
In this case, you are required to find out about the first husband's whereabouts and get divorce immediately.
If she marry the other person, then she will be in problem only if the first husband appears and raise any objection.
Very strange and very comic..............
Got married and lost the trace of husband. Never tried to get in touch. This is the state of love nowadays.

hello sir once she contacted the boy frnd that time he told he is not interested to live with her,he will never come again to disturb her,but he will not give divorce.and he advise her to marry another man

Then go ahead and marry another man. If you file a petition for divorce, then it will take a long time to get the petition disposed, if contested.
Any way your friend has decided to marry and go abroad. Thus, there is limited risk of any atempt from the first 'husband' for causing any disturbance.

deepak sir thank u so much for ur valuable advise but still their is one doubt remaining during the second time registration their is any chance to know about the first registration because the previous matter is not known by the second man who is going to marry my frnd

Dear Querist
This is india and no one can found these type of the documents without proper inquiry or investigation.in future, if her first husband change his mind and willing to live with her, you can think about the situation.
as per your information that he is abscond and not in touch with her, file a divorce petition before the court and get a ex-party divorce decree against him.

I would still ask the lady to obtain divorce.
Otherwise it can be problematic in future.

There is no chance by which a registration of previous marriage can be revealed at the time of registration of the new marriage. There is no cross verification because that is impossible in India as of now.
Her new husband will come to know only if some one disclose this to him.

already advised telephonically . dont remarry unless divorced .what if first husband comes later and starts black mailing you? or yur second husbsand comes to know about first marriage . ?
