Regarding approval of apointment

dear sir plz guide me regarding ,,,,,,
• Against the advertisement of various faculty posts by the pharmacy College.i had applied for the post relevant to my qualification and consequent to our interview on 29th March 2016 by the duly constituted selection committee of the University(VC nominee for reservation was absent) i was issued order of appointment on probation on for two years from college subject to university approval.and I am still not aware whether the University has accorded approval to me or not.University then sent a letter that due to absency of vc nominee your apointment was not considersed and we will never issue university approval letter to you.

If the VC nominee for reservation was absent, how do you consider the committee to have been duly constituted?

The constitution of the selection committee was incomplete and invalid.
