you can go for the process of divorce in behrain, but It is always advisable to go for the divorce procedure in India.. as the Hindu marriage act is applicable in India.. but there are few exceptions for the people staying abroad.. but there are few cases where the divorce done abroad have been challenged in India.

You can proceed for divorce with Mutual Consent.

If it is convenient for you then apply for the same in court in India only.
However foreign decree passed on consent is valid in India.

Thank you sirs for your input...hoping it all works out fine

I've heard the financial aspect is a nightmare to deal with in India especially with all the relatives interfering
