Hi, i want to Buy 3BHK flat in Kolkta. In case of transfer of nomination does 40000 income criteria hold for unregistered flat.

In Kolkata or WB there is no such restriction in place.

Do you mean that transfer of nomination in buyer's (interested party's) name shall confer the ownership?

Apparently ;NO.

If you want to buy then the ownership should be in your name.

Nominee is not owner.
