Damages around 50 lakhs can be claimed or not while filing slp (crl.)

Respected Experts,

I would like to go Supreme court against lower court orders which were dismissed criminal case in High Court.

Now I would like to file Special Leave Petition ( Criminal) against lower court orders under Article 136.

My question is can i claim for damages of around 40 lakhs whatever happend till now in the same slp against respondents

No, in SLP against high court judgment you can claim any such damages. However the court at its discretion may allow some litigation costs at the time of allowing the appeal.
