Arms license

(Querist) 19 August 2013 This query is : Resolved 
What is the procedure after expiration of arms license , my grandfather still has arms but the license is expired and moreover lost.
I hope the copy would be lying of the license with the court also , how to get the copy , how to give back these arms , as its its illegal to keep them without license .
