Hi
As iam based outside India, my uncle had collected my plot registration papers from the landlord. Now he is not returning my documents, please advise as to how I can get my registration papers back from him legally.

That means you have purchased some plot and the registered documents were taken by your uncle. If that is so, the original documents taken not from land lord but from the registrar's office. You must have given his authorisation to act on your behalf. Hence he could take delivery of the documents. It is a family matter, you better take help of your well wishers and impress over your uncle to give the documents to you. What action you can taken when you are out side india for this matter? There must be reasons for trusting him, there must be reasons fornot giving documents. Settle those issues first.
