Court judgement

(Querist) 24 April 2012 This query is : Resolved
In one of the judgements court said-"Petitioner would like to move a review application before the lower court. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as not pressed. It goes without saying that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the grounds raised in the present petition.
As and when the review application is filed, the same shall be considered on its own merits."

Experts please let me know the interpretation of the judgement.

Merits had not been discussed by appellate court and it was left upon the trial court to decide review application, if filed, on merits.

The court decided nothing and dismissed the petition as not pressed leaving the case to be decided on merit in review application before the lower court.

But if you can not understand this much, better live all on your lawyer.
