dear sir, I have been working out of mumbai from past 7 years.I have taken a bank loan to buy a flat in mumbai .my father has also invested some money in it and registered the flat on my name in 2002 and he signed as a wittness and society share certificates are also issued in my name.As my father expired my mother is staying alone in the flat now i want to sell the flat and bring my mother. But my sisters are now asking share in my father property which he has given to me. Now my question is that weather they have the right to ask share in my property which my father has registered on me

Legally they do not have any right in tahat property. You are the legal sole owner of that flat. Because the flat is in your name and you have spent money for its purchasing, it will be your self acquired property.

yes, it is your own property so no one cannot ask shares.

dear sir, now my sisters have issued a lawyer notice to the society and the builder & copy to me that if i sell or transfer my flat they will sue the society & builder to the court.in this matter the society is also not allowing me to sell my flat.now my questions are. 1 ) if i transfer(register) the said flat in my wife name and share certificates will be on my name as the society is not interested in transferring will be there any problem . 2) the lawyer notice which has been issued to the society and the builder is written on the plain paper without a letter head and stamp of the lawyer . only simple signature with notice issued was written on it. I WANT TO KNOW WEATHER IT IS A LEGAL OR ILLEGAL LETTER - IN BOTH CASES WHAT ACTION CAN I TAKE.
