calling at night

one of my friend is suffering from unidentety calls at midnigit and any time in day. The person who is calling abouseing me and my family members.
What is the remedy she is haveing?
What are the provisons in law to restrain them or these calls?

YOU HAVE NOT CLEARED IF THE CALLS ARE ON MOBILE OR LAND LINE. MOBILES' CALLS CAN BE IDENTIFIED AS NUMBER DOES REFLECT,SO IF IT IS MOBILE CALL REPORT THE FACT TO POLICE STATION BY LODGING AN FIR.
IN CASE CALLS ARE ON LAND LINE NUMBER AND YOU DO NOT HAVE A CALLER I.D. SERVICE,FIRST GET IT INSTALLED ON YOUR LINE BY CONTACTING YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER,THEN GET THE NUMBER IDENTIFIED AND THEN LODGE AN F.I.R IN THE POLICE STATION OF YOUR AREA.

It is an offence under IT Act and police can take cognizance of it. Police can put your phone under surveillance and find out the miscreant.
