Status of ICICI Bank is a foreign entity which comes outside the purview of RTI Act

Though RTI does not apply to icici , it is not a foreign entity.

even though RTI act is not directly applicable to ICICI bank,you can invoke the said act on icici through raising a query through RBI.

RBI will sent a notice under section 11(1) of the RTI act to icici as a third party within 5 days of receipt of rti application.

under section 11(2) of the act,the third party,within 10 days of receipt of such notice,can oppose the disclosures of details,if any already available with RBI.

The act also empowers the PIO/CPIO's to disclose such information without the third party's consent on the clause of larger public interest.

Sorry Mr.Barmanji. Please visit RBI's website and checkout for the status of ICICI bank. Mahendrakumarji is correct to some extent but in practice even such procedures have not yielded the desired results.
