Filing a case

I am Internet Service provider. my customer disconnected service on 31st July 2013 But didnot paid his dues Rs.2400/- now after 2 months can i file a case against him

yes, you can file case against him, if your customer gave any blank cheque than immediately deposit and get bounced than file 138NI case against him.

first send legal notice to him and demand ur dues.

you will end up spending more money on legal fees . legal notice charges would be more than Rs 2400 forget filing of legal case expenses

Agree, however in such case, you yourself can send registered notice demanding payment.
