my relative ,during unloading bricks in a disputed area,two opponents came and try to sto him and used abusing languagess to him. they tried to manhandle my relative grieviously and at the time of self defence my relative bite half portion of one of the opponents left arm thump.my relative doesnt have any injury ,so he didnt went for any case or not admitted in hospital. but the opponent report to police and police charged ipc 326 and remand my relative one day to jail. later on we see that the opponents half portion of thump is amputed. in what way we should move further to defend. asking for a help

This case can be decided by MLC and what doctors have noted in the same.
It is now a matter of evidence and trial. Engage a good lawyer.

I think bail would be granted within one month. It would be better to make a compromise.

Just proceed the case further. Nothing to say more.. Already bail granted mean, If the sections got altered mean just you have to get fresh bail. Otherwise just move for bail.. Even 326 ipc is non bailable section. If the complainant discharged from hospital mean automatically bail will be granted.

it is fear that section may be altered as 307 IPC which is more grievous offence so I suggest you to move application to higher police officers and CMO to re-check such injured medically and make impartial enquiry because nothing alleged has happenned.

As per story,section can't be altered . Engage a good lawyer. At the time of trial u try to make compromise.
