compromise under o.23r.3 cpc

if plaintiff and deffendent no. 2 to 4 does compromise in suit and deffendent no. 1 does not comprmise .......then can the plaintiff use compromise agreement against the deffendent no. 1 in same suit.....will court deem compromise agreement as a admission against the deffendent no. 1 in same suit...... will compromise agreement effect the merriut of case between plaintiff and deffendent no. 1 in same suit ..... plz give knowlege ... if possible plz give me citations on this matter in favour of defendant no. 1 .
