My Daughter filed a DV case on her Husband and the court dismissed her dv case. We have requested for protection u/s 18 and Return of Gold,silver u/s 19 in addition to monetary relief u/s 20 and 22. Since my daughter is employed Judge may not approve for monetary relief u/s 20 and 22. But at least sec 18 and 19 should be considered. How can jUDGE dismiss the DV case ?
Is there a way out by which we CAN get relief for the above sections. Can we challenge her Judgement successfully ?

1. Was this application put to trial and then dismissed or was it as straight dismissal?

2. You would need to go in for appeal against such dismissal order.

what were the grounds of dismissal ? you want us to give opinion without knowing the reasons for dismissal of the case

The very basis of dismissal is missing from the question. That was quite necessary for the experts to form any opinion to suggest you any solution.

You are asking the experts as to how the judge can dismiss the DV Case. That you have to explain to us on what grounds the judge dismissed the case. Whether there is really domestic violence and is it false case to implicate your son-in-law and his family. What are the circumstances that made you people to go to Court of Law instead of saving the marriage?
