what are the consequences of an NRI purchasing agricultural lands giving local indian address. how to complaint and whom to complaint against this.

1. If the N.R.I. is an agriculturist and owns agricultural land then he can purchase such agricultural land. Complaint can be made before the District Collector if the matter is objectionable.

is NRI an agriculturist . in many states only farmer can purchase agricultural land

For land purchase, local law / state law applies. Consult local lawyer.

the nri is not an agriculturist and the state is also not Uttar pradesh. I would like to know what type of law applies under fema violation
