(Querist) 16 May 2014 This query is : Resolved
My father made gift deed of his property in my name which he made from his own source
1.I HAVE TWO ELDER BROTHERS AND AN ELDER SISTER
2.THEY HAVE 7 CHILDRENS

Is there is an chance that either my sibling or there childrens have rights for the property gifted by father to me.

Please advice

Since the property gifted to you by your father was made by his own source, the gift is very much valid and thereby you alone become the absolute owner. No other person can claim any right over the said gifted property.
R.V.RAO (Expert) 17 May 2014
nobody else can claim your father's gift to you, provided, the gift made to you is irrevocable, unconditional and duly registered.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 17 May 2014
Gift is irrevocable in the hands of donee, once donee has accepted.

You are owner of the property after registered gift from your father, others have no share in it.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 17 May 2014
An unconditional and registered gift deed is irrevocable and if the donor has full rights and title to the property to be gifted, once in the hands of donee as a gift, the donee becomes the absolute owner of the property thereby nobody has any right or share in the property including the donor subsequent to execution of the registered gift deed.
