AN ORDER PASSED BY ALLAHABAD HIGH COURT FOR MAINTENANCE OF 15000 PER MONTH ON 1/5/2014.THE COURT HAS NOT SPECIFIED TO PAY FROM DATE OF ORDER OR FROM 2005.EARLIER I WAS PAYING 8000 SINCE 2005 BY INTERIM ORDER.NOW SHE DEMANDING 7.5 LAKH AS ARREARS.WHICH I AM NOT ABLE TO PAY.WHAT SHOULD I DO KNOW

inform court , you are unable to pay.

post your query in same thread . inform court about your inability to pay 7.5 lakhs demanded by wife as arrears

Get the full order scrutinized by your lawyer.

If the court has not specified from the date from which it is to be paid, pay from date of order, let her claim arrears through court.

You can definitely define it as if operative from the date of order but for such interpretation, the pleadings of the parties before high court are required to be gone through.
