Transfer of property

Sir, as my dad expired on 26th july 2012. our home was in my dad's name, he has nominated my mom's name in the Share Certificate. now the society chairman is asking for a letter to change the room in my mom's name... can any 1 plsz tell me the format of the letter?

no standard format . just mention father died . mother is nominee as per nomination form . to transfer flat in name of nominee ie mother

No standard format exist, ask the society to give you the language and contents of the letter and act accordingly.

Ready made formats are not provided in this section.

If your society has demanded the request on any prescribed format then obtain if from its office otherwise simple request supported with the duly sworn affidavit is sufficient.
