Hello Sir,
I am being accused for a mental harassment of a girl whom I loved and approached for accepting my proposal. While approaching she gave few warning massages but I was ignoring her warning and approached second time to talk and resolve the matter but then she directly complained and humiliated me in the working group. After that incident I stopped everything and not communicated with her almost for a year but after an year I asked her few question which was related to my proposal. Here I was clear that I am not interested to have relationship but willing to clear few doubts. Then she again made a written complain in the department saying that I am mentally harassing her and approaching her again and again. Now actually I am being mentally harassed by the situation but can't do any thing. Do Indian Law have any rule for me or am I really an accuse?
Please reply for my query. I am attaching a copy of the mail after which the complained has been filled. Please find the attachment.

for get her and move on in life . you have not been able to accept the rejection of ypour proposal by the lady .
you are young and doing well in life . why hanker after a girl who is not interested in you .
make some new girl friends . enjoy life

You and only you have mentally harassed her by contacting / trying to contact her again and again on one pretext or other in spite of her clear dis agreement. Evaluate your steps again and don't invite troubles for you. You have no right to get answer of any question till other party is interested to answer you.

I am agreeing to all of you but then also I just want to mention my story in detailed. If I have broken any law then please let me know. It will help me to correct my self.
As I told that I proposed a girl but there was something before like girl gave me all possible hint to make me propose then only I proposed. Later on when created an issue on my proposal and humiliated me in the working group I stopped everything and till now there was not any communication between us. But since we were working in same group there was some difficulty arises and after few arguments I discovered that this kind of clashes are because of misunderstandings. Then to clear that misunderstanding I wrote the mail in which I have clearly mentioned that I don't want any relationship. Just requested to answer few questions. Then she took this mail and included with all old things to lodge a complain.
Now I faced so much of trouble, stress and many allegations just because of this mail. She is a women and applying all women laws on me. I want to know clearing doubt and sending mail can also became crime ? She has allegation that I am mentally harassing her from last 18 months in which more than last 12 month I have never made any contact. Is Indian law says anything in my behalf ? Can I go to court for justice ?

Mr. Anuj,
a) You can not force any (male or female)to have any kind of relation with you till he want.
b) Once on your initiation, she expressed that she does not want to have any relationship, you again wrote mail to her. This was extreme from you.
c) You may have so may differences with lot of people but if they do not want to have relation, keeping arms length is best policy.
d) Instead of avoiding you are trying to get reply from us as per your choice which is regretted.
Agree that the present law is pro ladies and we can not do anything till it is changed. To avoid troubles one should avoid ways adopted by you.

I think Mr. Goyal has given a very fitting reply/answer. The author should realize his position, he cannot justify his actions especially in the event of the girl totally rejecting him, this will turn to be a criminal offence consequent upon the author may have to keep counting the bars sitting behind them. So better to avoid venturing into any such ideas in the future.
