Dear Sir,
Our society chairman and secretory are list bothered of works need to be done, they always complaint society member don’t come for meeting not even AGM they can’t raise funds or cannot do any work without majority of approves. New members(Myself and others) of society asked committee member if they are not coming to society meeting what action has been taken or planned against them they said no action can be taken against them as per byelaws and for not attending AGM they fine Rs. 200 per member. we have election in March. What legal action can be taken against those members who are not attending meeting and society elections.

in the notice of AGM society can mention if there is no quorum meeting would be adjourned for half an hour and recommence thereafter . in majority of societies in Mumbai members dont bother to attend AGM .
