hi all,
i am not sure whether i am posting this in the right catergory or not. but still i would think tht experts would have the ans. My quiry is regarding the renewal of passport. As the pages is exausted i need to renew my passport. in my previous passport, my husband name is included. since i am seperated ( staying apart and no contact but not legally )from past 8 years, i would like to know whether i can select the column seperated in the passport application form. if so i am interested to know what are the documents i need to submit inorder not to have my husbands name in my current passport.

Divorce decree is needed in such case.

you can make a mention that you are married and separate. Give names of your mother and father alternately. If necessary I shall give notice to passport officer.

I am of the opinion, if you want to remove the nusband's name from the passport, you need a divorce decree.
